If you're looking for some great fishing, then come to the Kentucky Lake/Lake Barkley Region.
 At our location in Aurora, Lake Barkley boat ramps are only 5-10 minutes away and just 1 mile from boat ramps on Kentucky Lake. Jonathan Creek is a mere 3.5 miles and  Blood river is only 15-20 minutes.    You will find that our Location is in the middle of the finest fishing that West Kentucky has to offer.
  The abundant population of Crappie in the lakes makes for excellent angling.  Fish size limit is 10
inches which helps keep the population up for some tremendous size slabs.  Many fish caught during the spring spawn  are 2 lbs. and up.

There have been several nice size Bass caught on both lakes.  Although bass fishing has been tough in the last couple of years, the challenge for the larger lunkers is still there.  

Mid-spring through the summer has been excellent for white bass -"stripes".  Fish up to 2 lb. + are caught in limit batches.  They are often caught on the surface as they feed on shad.  They're also caught by trolling along channel ledges and casting and jigging near bridge pilings.

Catfish - Blues, channel cats and flatheads grow to enormous size in Kentucky lake and Lake Barkley.
Sauger- a close relative to Walleye are often a bonus to bass and crappie fishing.  They can be caught off the bottom of rocky flats  and humps and during the winter months where they congregate during the spawning run in the tailwates of Kentucky Dam.

Hunting
There are execellent oportunities for hunting in the area.  White-tailed Deer, spring Turkey, fall and Winter waterfowl and small game are throughout the area.  We are just 1 mile from LBL which has early season quota Turkey hunts and reagualr seaon hunting, Quota Deer gun hunts and regular fall season Bow season for Deer and Turkey.    Check with LBL for more details.
