Golf Courses in the area
With Four new courses in the area, The Lakes Region has a wide variety of Golf facilities to choose from.

The Land Between the Lakes offers 170,000 acres of wildlife, history and outdoor recreation opportunities with 300 miles of undeveloped shoreline.  Horse back riding, cycling, off-road 4 wheeling, mountain biking, back woods camping, canoeing, hiking, and hunting are just a few of the things to explore as well as a land full of interesting history.

There a Nature Station which is a wildlife exhibit and learning center.  Opened March-Nov. The Homeplace ~ 1850 is a historical farm with interpreters clothed from the period  who demonstrate the daily chores and activites of the 1850's. There are also special events through-out the year. Opened March-Nov. There is also an Elk & Bison Prairie which is a 750 acre drive through habitat restoration project.  It demonstrates how the region once looked during the time of Daniel Boone. There is also The Golden Pond Planetaruim & Observatory  which brings to life the fascinating world of outer space and modern space exploration.  For those who enjoy off roading there's Turkey Bay off-road area.  Which has 2,500 acres of Trails to explore.
